Jacob's latest novel, The Hiker, is now complete and available on Amazon.com. A suspense thriller set in the remote Blue Ridge Mountains of Northeast Georgia, The Hiker chronicles the unimaginable savagery of a serial killer who is stalking unsuspecting human prey on the Appalachian Trail. In typical Jacob Lassiter fashion, the constantly mounting tension culminates in a conclusion that is as unexpected as it is spellbinding.
The Crescent Moon Media Group is pleased to announce that Jacob Lassiter has been chosen to author the book on one of the most famous and cherished residents of Northeast Georgia. People who live in the Blue Ridge Mountains are familiar with the remarkable story of resilience and survival of a dog named “Nugget”. For more than eleven years she lived alone on the streets of Dahlonega, Georgia—the historic site of America’s first gold rush. Through brutally cold winters and hot humid summers she persevered with the help of countless individuals that provided food and loving support for the courageous canine. Against all odds she endured the hardships, overcame the obstacles and gave the residents of Dahlonega the opportunity to display one of their most treasured gifts—unconditional love and support. Nugget was adopted by a local family two years ago and continues to be one of Dahlonega’s most beloved citizens. She was named Grand Marshall of the annual “Gold Rush” festival two years ago, and stays in the news through her personal Facebook page (she is fast approaching 5,000 Facebook friends) and her Atlanta-based LLC corporation. A fall 2013 publication date is anticipated.
Amazon announces an early release date for the Crescent Moon sequel. Iron Cross/Southern Cross is now on sale at Amazon.com.. The Iron Cross cover art is currently in production by renowned artist Michael Miller and is scheduled for completion in May.
